Overview

This course explores what’s needed when honest conversations and provides a framework to practise these conversations in a safe, supportive environment.

Course objectives:

  • Reflect on what makes an honest conversation, an effective one

  • Consider tools and techniques for honest conversations

  • Identify barriers to honest conversations and how these can be overcome

  • Explore a model and structure to assist the discussion process

  • Have the chance to practice having honest conversations

  • Create an action plan of your commitment to apply these skills in the workplace.

Duration:

4 hours. This course requires a small amount of pre-work to be completed by delegates.
