This course provides an understanding of personal resilience and the factors that can affect it. You’ll also gain practical tools to help build and strengthen your resilience, including managing your inner critic.

Course objectives:

  • Identify the definition of personal resilience and what is needed to build and maintain it.

  • Recognise what the inner critic is and how it can impact resilience.

  • Use Stephen Covey’s model to help focus on what can be controlled and influenced (in any situation) in order to maintain resilience.

  • Practise using a retrospective as a way to reflect positively.

  • Create a development action plan of commitment to apply these skills in the workplace

Duration:

2 hours. This course requires a small amount of pre-work to be completed by delegates.
