In this short course, you’ll learn how to take control of your workload by learning some practical techniques to help you prioritise confidently. Identify what steals your time and strategies you can use to deal with them.

Course objectives:

  • Describe the differences between a waterfall and agile approach to planning

  • Give examples of what steals our time and identify solutions

  • Apply two tools (effort vs. impact grid and creating a back log) which you can adopt to support effective planning and prioritisation

  • Create a development action plan of commitment to apply these skills in the workplace

Duration:

2 hours. This course requires a small amount of pre-work to be completed by delegates.
